= Ø      = A delegation from Nairobi visited Eldoret today to try and relocate a group displaced people camping at Catholic Diocese of Eldoret grounds to the show ground, but they refuse due to security concerns=

= Ø      = Clergy in Eldoret are very much involved in gett= ing in touch with the people.

= Ø      = Red cross is overwhelmed by the situation on the ground especially in Eldoret and Burnt forest

= Ø      = Humanitarian coordinators facing transport challenges

= Ø      = Essential goods prices have skyrocketed in worst= hit areas 

High level mediation

Ø     Had lunch with Canadian depu= ty High commissioner and Swedish Ambassador

Ø     Had debriefing with the team= which was accompanying Archbishop Demos Tutu and the outcome of the meeting with = the president is on the public domain

Ø     Had a lengthy discussion with elders from the Mount Kenya region and explored long term options for maintaining peace as we need every region to take part in finding a solution.
